Creme of Nature MANGO & SHEA BUTTER

My Sister first introduced me to Creme of Nature, back when I couldn't afford to buy my own products, so I would steal hers.

It was great to see the development of the brand with this new range, and knowing that it included beneficial natural ingredients.

Certified Natural Mango conditions and protects while Certified Natural Shea Butter moisturises and softens. These Ultra-Moisturising formulas enrich dehydrated hair with moisture for healthier hair.

First Impressions: I like the look and presentation of the products as well as the emphasis of ultra-moisturising due the the ingredients.

I'm big on smells, so that's one of the first things I do...Smell the product! There is certainly a nice fruity scent of the products, however I would have liked a more dominant smell of mango, which my hair didn't seem to absorb.

I began with wetting my hair thoroughly before applying the shampoo, as directed on the bottle.

Wet hair. Apply shampoo and work into lather. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat.

You can also try and separate and shampoo your hair in sections. This ensures that you are cleansing and tending to every strand while also helping with the de-tangling process.

PRODUCT BENEFITS Ultra-Moisturizing formula to gently cleanse dehydrated hair Helps to condition, soften, and protect hair

When shampooing, I tend to focus on the scalp, massaging in the product with my finger tips, and allowing the shampoo to lift up all the dirt and cleanse my scalp.

Apply a generous amount to hair and comb through for even distribution. Rinse then style. For deeper conditioning, after applying conditioner, proceed with hair steaming or sit under hooded dryer with plastic cap for 5-10 minutes.

  • Ultra-Moisturizing formula to nourish dehydrated hair

  • Conditions and softens for smooth, healthy hair

  • Infused with Certified Natural Mango & Shea Butter

I used this product as a regular conditioner and skipped the deep conditioning step as I only deep condition every 2 weeks.

I wasn't a big fan of the consistency as it didn't have enough slip for my type 4 hair, so I found myself having to use quite a lot to achieve a successful detangling session

Creme of Nature Mango & Shea Butter Ultra-Moisturizing Leave-In Conditioner

Rinse and towel dry. Massage throughout hair. Gently comb through making sure that the ends are treated. DO NOT RINSE OUT. Leave in hair.

I did prefer the consistency of the leave- in as it was a little thicker but still a tad too watery for my texture. I definitely agree that my hair felt conditioned and light however, I would usually need a slightly thicker product such as a creme or butter to achieve my desired style.

With this in mind, I decided to use the tension method and blow dry the back of my hair whilst the top had remained in bantu knots.

This completed my quick and easy festival style which you can all give a try.
