New Products from Creme of Nature

To me, Creme of Nature (CON, as we'll refer to it in this post) is one of the OG hair brands. They particularly stick in my mind as they were specifically one of the brands which had a wide range of products, as well as being suitable for multiple hair types.

Nowadays you see several brands on the shelves who include natural oils in their ingredients, and granted it's nothing new. However, CON were one of the first brands to introduce Argan Oil to the mainstream market.

Argan Oil is highly prized in beauty circles, giving deep nourishment with nutrients, once this information had widely spread, everyone went crazy for Argan Oil, and here's why.

Benefits of Argan Oil:

Indigenous to Morocco, Argan Oil is a precious and rare oil that has supplied radiance and nourishment to hair for centuries. it is organically grown and rich in vitamin E and essential fatty acids that are good for hair and skin.

  • Light-Weight

The new expansion to the Creme of Nature range is aimed at Naturals, with the hashtag "I am Super Natural". The new products include an Apple Cider Vinegar Clarifying Rinse, a Moisture & Shine Curl Activator Creme, a Flexible Styling Snot Gel, and Perfect Edges Black, all of which are infused with Argan Oil from Morocco to help infuse all natural hair types with moisture, strength and shine.

Here are our thoughts on each product (click each product for more info):

Apple Cider Vinegar Clarifying Rinse

Sadly, I was disappointed with this product. During my washing experience, my hair felt stripped which is a feeling I personally don't like. This was the first time using Apple Cider Vinegar on my hair and the negative experience could be down to the fact that I wasn't aware that this is how ACV makes your hair feel. I would be willing to give it a another try but I do prefer a more moisturising wash day experience in general. Following using this product, I conditioned and deep conditioned to get my hair back into the state I prefer prior to styling.

Moisture & Shine Curl Activator Creme

After using the ACV product I was worried my wash day experience was down the drain but the Curl Activator Creme flipped my experience around. This product is thick and moisturising. It gave my hair great shine and definition. You don't need that much to achieve optimal results and the smell is not overpowering. I applied this is on wet hair and for me it had enough slip to be distributed without any issues. I definitely will be using this product again.

Flexible Styling Snot

I have been pleasantly surprised by this product - a little is need to achieve great hold. It works amazingly well with the Curl Activator Creme. I personally think I put on too much as I had a slight gel cast but nevertheless I still loved the results, so I think it's safe to say a little goes a long way with this product. Be advised that using too much will give you flakes and if not using it with the Curl Activator Creme, mix a little of it on your hand with the other products you will be using to avoid any white clumps when styling.

Overall the Curl Activator Creme and Flexible Snot were my favourites; the duo worked amazingly well and also allowed me to retain length with my wash and go - which was a nice change. I'll keep these two products in my arsenal for future use together.

We love everything surrounding this brand including the marketing. CON are spot on with the inclusion and representation, which makes us wonder how so many other brands can get it so wrong.

The hashtag #IAMSUPERNATURAL sends an empowering and encouraging message to so many, which is back up by stunning visuals.
